Verify your domain
You might have read about Apple’s new policy to help its users understand an app’s privacy practices with the goal to better inform and protect its users. Starting with iOS 14.5 (soon to be released), Apps in the App Store will be required to ask users for their permission to track them across apps and websites owned by other companies in accordance with their - so called - AppTrackingTransparency framework.
These changes will affect how Facebook - and so Wonderkind’s Talent Attraction Technology - receive and process conversion events from tools such as the Facebook Pixel.
In response to these changes, we will start processing pixel conversion events from iOS 14 devices using Aggregated Event Measurement in close collaboration with Facebook. This will support the efforts to preserve users privacy and help you run effective Talent Attraction campaigns.
In addition to the aforementioned, the following Facebook changes will be implemented:
- Our pixel may only optimise for a maximum of eight conversion events for each domain. Luckily, Wonderkind’s Talent Attraction Technology only uses 1 conversion event to optimise your Campaigns.
- The Attribution Window will be set to a 7-day click instead of 28-day click. Although this might affect the performance, our data shows that most users click on the ad when they see it which would result in a limited impact.
Here is what you can do to prepare:
Verify your website’s domain to help avoid any future disruption of your Talent Attraction Campaigns as further outlined in the step by step visual below
